Updated Policies
Waiting Area
Masks
We ask that you do not come nor bring your child if you or your child have a fever, cough or any signs of sickness. Also do not attend if you have been exposed to someone who has tested positive for covid 19 in the last 14 days. We feel we can still provide a very happy, positive, loving environment with these policies in place. Please help us to keep Kindermusik going strong for everyone and to keep everyone safe and healthy! We are so excited to see everyone again!

Updated Policies
Waiting Area
- There will be no toys or books in the waiting area. The waiting area will be available however we do encourage you (since the class times are longer for the older kids) to go on walks or enjoy the bench outside if you are staying and waiting for your child. Please keep distance between families.
- Please no food or drink in the waiting or studio area except for infant bottles or sippy cups.
- If the weather is appropriate, please hang around outside until you see the class before you leaving. This will help us keep distance in between classes and limit the number of people in the studio at one time.
- Please remove all shoes prior to coming into the studio area. The cubbies will now be in the waiting area. Bring all purses/valuables into the studio room with you. Leave all baby seats in the waiting area.
- We ask that all participants (adults and children) wash their hands or use hand sanitizer after removing their shoes and before coming to the studio area.
- We will not have the basket of instruments (for gathering time) at the start of this semester. We hope to be able to bring it back soon.
- We will ask parents to social distance throughout the room and we have removed some items in the classroom to give us more room to do this. For the older kids (who are in class alone) we will be using colored squares or sensory seats on the floor to keep us somewhat distanced however we know that this will be our toughest one in the Kindermusik class setting. We are removing items by the wall to open up more space for movement. For Young Child classes the desks will be spaced apart.
- All instruments, scarves, and props will be washed after each class and we will place all used instruments whether it was used by an adult or child in the dirty bucket for cleaning.
- Please limit adults to 2 per child. If the county goes to red level of covid, we may have to limit to one parent but will go back to two as soon as we are out of the red. We want to limit the amount of people in the studio so it would help if siblings did not come to the end of the older classes, however we understand that this is not always possible.
- All studio areas will be cleaned 2X daily and in between classes as much as possible.
- We have added more hand sanitizer dispensers (3 in studio, 2 in waiting area). Please wash hands or use hand sanitizer before, after and during class if you feel needed.
Masks
- Masks will not be required for the children 7 years and under. For adults, we will follow the city/State ordinance. If the city/state is requiring them, we will require them for adults and children over 7. (unless the state/city mandate says differently) If the city is not requiring them we will not. You are welcomed to wear them anytime you would like to. As of August 16th, 2021 all masks are optional.
